The Wedding
And now for the main event, the big day has finally arrived.
How does it start? Well, with a grand entrance, of course. The groom will be led in a massive procession made up of his family and friends who will dance all the way to the mandap. The groom generally arrives on something fancy like a horse or an elephant or even a Bengal tiger. Okay, the last one is a bit unlikely but expect something mind-blowing.
At the mandap, the groom will be greeted by the bride and her family. Here, they will essentially be seeing each other for the first time in quite a while so, expect some electricity in the air. And finally, with the stars aligned and the mandap all set, it’s time to gather round the couple as they perform their wedding rites.
